The children in our Foster Care system need more support than they are receiving.
They are our children and we have taken them from the “situation” they were living in into a more stable and hopefully loving environment. The saying that it takes a village to raise a child, is correct. It also takes a village for all of us to live, we are told we can make it all alone, but we aren’t supposed to. Evaluating what Oregon State is doing for our children, any changes that need to be made and how we can really step how children under our care are growing up and thriving in the community. Placing the importance on security, stability, and the whole well-being of the child and environment we have place them needs greater attention.
